We started Pana Mina in 2020. We're Ellie and Jay, an American & Indian couple who split our time between the US and India, and we're involved in every step of how our clothes are made, from choosing fabric to the final seam. Here's what we hold ourselves to.

Natural, Low-Impact Fabrics

We work with a small handful of plant-based fabrics, like the cotton flax our best-known dress is made from. Much of what we use is deadstock: leftover fabric from local mills and production houses that would otherwise go to waste.

We choose every fabric in person from mills and suppliers in Jaipur, and we test each one for how it wears and washes before it becomes a Pana Mina piece.

Our fabrics are dyed in small batches at a neighborhood artisan's shop. The dyes are low impact and free of toxic chemicals, and leftover water-based dye is disposed of properly.

Made in Jaipur

Every Pana Mina piece is cut, stitched and finished at our own small factory in Jaipur. Our tailors are paid more than double the fair and living wage, so they can support their families and live comfortably.

There is no child labor or forced labor in our production. Our factory is safe and clean, our tailors keep flexible schedules and can request days off, and they are free to join a union.

Small Batches

We make each style in small runs instead of huge production orders. It keeps waste down, and it means every piece on the site is ready to ship when you order it.

Inclusive Sizing

Every Pana Mina style is made in sizes XXS through 4X. Not sure which size is yours? Check our Size Chart, or email us at namaste@panamina.com with your measurements and we'll help you choose.

Minimal Packaging

Each piece ships in a kraft paper mailer with a recycled paper note and care tag. Nothing extra.

Clothes Made to Last

We design pieces to outlast trends and seasons: simple, useful, and made to be worn for years. Our hope is a smaller wardrobe you actually love, not more stuff. We hope you wear your Pana Mina piece for a long, long time.
